ABOi Lite

These documents provide the official recommendations, appendices and sample tracking tools to support standardized testing and sample management as well as to determine the eligibility of transplant candidates who wish to participate in ABOi Lite Matching in KPD.

ABOi Lite refers to the practice of proposing matches between:

• Blood group A-subgroup non-A₁ donors with blood group O and B transplant candidates.
• Blood group AB-subgroup non-A₁B donors with blood group B transplant candidates.
