Welcome to Transfusion Camp course portal
What is Transfusion Camp?
Transfusion Camp is an education program that aims to increase transfusion knowledge and best practice by providing high-quality and relevant transfusion medicine (TM) training to Canadian postgraduate medical residents in various specialties related to transfusion at medical schools across Canada. Transfusion Camp is also delivered in partnership to residents in the United Kingdom. Transfusion Camp curriculum has been adapted to provide TM education to Canadian nurse practitioners (currently in British Columbia) and to medical professionals in low-resource countries (currently in Rwanda).
Transfusion Camp has been recognized as a novel and scalable approach to delivering effective TM education. See our publications on PubMed to learn more.
