Objectives:

  1. Understand how cell free fetal DNA testing is used to predict fetal red cell antigen status
  2. Recognize the role of non-invasive fetal RHD genotyping in 1) managing alloimmunized pregnancies and 2) targeted antenatal RhIG prophylaxis
  3. Appreciate the advantages and challenges of implementing routine antenatal high throughput NIPT as part of a new paradigm of RhD alloimmunization prevention in Canada
