  1. Describe the key components of the National Shortages Plan for Labile Blood Products.
  2. Describe the role of the NEBMC with particular emphasis on the relationship of hospital transfusion services to this committee nationally and provincially.
  3. Articulate how inventory data can contribute to the prevention of shortages.
  4. Apply information from the “lessons learned” exercise during past Green Advisory Phases to confidently manage ordering practices should there be future advisories
