Behind the Lab Coats: The Dynamic Duo of Laboratory Technicians (LT/MLA) and Laboratory Technologists (MLT) at the National Immunohematology Reference Lab (NIRL)

Learning Objectives

This presentation will explore various blood bank testing procedures, discuss testing for both donors and blood products (including the impact on patient care), and the role of the Lab Technician (LT/MLA) and Lab Technologists (MLT) at NIRL. We will look at how an LT/MLA or MLT professional will fit in!
