Blood Matters 2025 is being offered virtually on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 9:30am to 3:15pm AT. This free, transfusion-focused education day is hosted by the Nova Scotia Provincial Blood Coordinating Team.

Learning objectives

After participating in this session, attendees will be able to:

  • Identify emerging trends in transfusion medicine.
  • Explain best practices as they related to transfusion medicine in Nova Scotia.
  • Critique current transfusion medicine practice against local and/or national practices.
